This course is extremely beneficial for all fitness professionals, but most importantly those who work with pregnant and postpartum women. This gave in depth information on how to teach clients how to work on the female core and pelvic floor. Dr. Holzmann is exceptionally knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond for her patients, fitness class participants, and students in her course.

I took this course to help me coach pregnant and postpartum athletes. Addie shares a wealth of information that I’ve been able to apply in class. I use cues and adjustments I’ve learned from this course regularly. I have also had clients complete this course for themselves and it’s helped empower them throughout the pregnancy and postpartum period. Addie breaks it all down!! I’d recommend to any mother or any fitness professionals working with pregnant and postpartum athletes!

I have written a review on how awesome this course is for women in general but from an instructor point of view this class is invaluable. I have learned to use and heal my own body through this course and in turn can teach my clients how to do the same. Addie is great at giving so many amazing examples to use on ourselves and clients. She is always so helpful when I reach out with questions about clients too. Do yourself a favor and take this course to become a better coach for all of your clients.

This course is the most comprehensive and detailed postpartum course you will find. Addie goes above and beyond with her explanations as she truly wants you to understand the "why" behind everything she teaches. I am a physical therapist and mother myself and was blown away by all of the goodies she fit into this course - she makes complex topics so easy to understand. This course is SO MUCH MORE than just kegels and crunches (which is typically all you see in a postpartum program). In my opinion, this course is worth WAY more than I paid for it. I recommend it to all of my mama friends. I promise you that you will not regret purchasing this course. I will say it again, there isn't a better course out there to help you learn about your body and help you to achieve whatever goals you have!

Addie explains anatomy, movement and function in a way that movement professionals can understand and directly apply in coaching postpartum women. Her detailed course material helps us understand the changes that take place during pregnancy and postpartum chapters. With this understanding, we are better equipped to coach mamas when they show up at class ready to workout. I love how the course material can be applied to a wide range of mama athletes, whether they are a few weeks or 5 years postpartum. After completing the course, I feel confident in coaching women (in all stages of motherhood) through a workout.

"Before To Birth and Back I never really understood the anatomy of the pelvic floor and why I have was issues with running and going everyday task. I thought kegels would be enough. I now understand how to work with my body, to not have symptoms with running or with other exercises."

"This class was so beneficial to me in the often frustrating journey to recover from some of the problems I now have thanks to birthing my precious darling kids. Addie is so knowledgeable, honest, and encouraging all at the same time and is especially good at giving practical and doable advice to assist in the postpartum recovery process. I really can say the things I learned in this class have helped with bladder control, back pain, pelvic pain, etc. Thank you Addie!! We need more people like you and more classes like this to educate us Moms and normalize many of the challenges we face on the road to recovery. "

"I absolutely loved this course! Addie is so knowledgeable and makes the information digestible for those of us who are not PTs. I walked away from the class knowing so much more about my pelvic floor and how to return to the activities that I love! Definitely worth the investment of time and money, am forever grateful to have attended the course!"

"Addie did a fantastic job of breaking down the basics, talking us through anatomy and the anatomical reasons for the issues we experience and reinforcing past lessons. The videos are invaluable for referencing back to after the fact, as there is a lot of information and a LOT to think about as you work through the exercises. I emphatically recommend this program!"

"Very informative course with emphasis on the body through all stages of pregnancy and postpartum. The knowledge and skills I learned from this course I have now adapted into my everyday life routines in the postpartum setting."

"Wonderful class! Addie is a fantastic instructor and makes sure you understand a topic before moving on. She does a great job connecting the teaching to everyday life positions (lifting baby into car seat, changing diaper, washing dishes, getting up off the floor, etc.). What I learned in this class I will use for the rest of my life as a Mama! Definitely recommend it to anyone!"

"Addie's approach is different. She digs right into mechanics and how your body can help itself in a way to feel better. When I was able to take charge of my body and feel like I was fixing it, my life changed. Addie has a lot of incredible knowledge. Just sit and listen-you won't get it all in one swoop. Sometimes the information might not click right away, sometimes it clicks weeks later. Just keep listening, there's so much to learn."

I joined To Birth & Back because for the last 7 years since having my first baby, I had so many issues below the belt. I've had more success with Addie than any other healthcare provider. Addie taught me how everything in our bodies is connected. She has been able to hone in on what works and what doesn't. She teaches information and gives tools that relate to everyday life. My biggest take away from To Birth & Back was how to use breathing and positioning to decrease leaking. Addie has the ability to make you feel like you are not broken and that there's hope to fix issues you're having.
